Spider-man and update.

in Movies & Shows, Pregnancy

I’ve said I’ll be updating regularly but it seems with my pregnancy I’m just too lazy to do anything. The constant back pain and the never ending morning sickness is making me feel just blah. I can’t believe my son Ali is going to be a year old this 1st of June! I’ve already planned to make a small birthday party for him and yes I’ll be posting pictures ๐Ÿ™‚

So I’m 22 weeks pregnant and I still don’t know the sex of my baby! I had a level 2 ultra sound and the doctor said “i think it’s a girl but not sure” yeah my baby keeps turning a lot. I remember when i was pregnant with Ali he kept his legs wide open showing off his pee pee during the ultrasound but not this baby, oh well time would tell.

Saw Spider-man last weekend and I must say it didn’t live up to the hype. Even my friend Shara said it was funny and cheesy. There hasn’t been any good movies lately but I’m looking forwards to up coming movies like Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Shrek 3 and Fantastic Four 2.

Rating: ★★½☆☆

Anyway gotta go and get some sleep, I have so much catching up to do and lots of blogs to read, no promises but I will try to blog regularly.

Has it been that long?

I can’t believe it took me that long to blog again but in all honesty I needed this break. Lots of things happened in the past month or 2, my younger brother got married and it’s sad I wasn’t there in Kuwait to attend his wedding. Now mom hopes my baby sister would be next lol she wants to fill our house with lots of grandchildren.

As for my pregnancy well I’m 15 weeks and 3 days and I’m dying to know the sex of my baby This pregnancy is so difficult my entire body hurts, maybe because i just delivered my first baby and haven’t given my body enough time to heal. About 2 1/2 weeks i had a nasty fall while going down the stairs and thank god no bleeding. All the major pains and aches that i should be experiencing in my last trimester is happening now and it’s so hard to deal with. My nights are restless, hard to find a good position to sleep.

Baby Ali is just adorable he’s crawling now, sitting and standing up on his own using support. He’s a VERY active baby and wants to play all the time. Thankfully my friend Shara comes by 3 times a week to watch Ali while i do some cooking and all. I really needed the help especially now since my parents delayed their plans to visit due to my sister’s graduation.

Now here’s a short video of my baby Ali i took with my friend.

I’ve been taking it easy and taking care of Ali, he’s growing fast and soon he’ll be running all over the place. Maybe i should start baby proofing the house this weekend. Last Wednesday I went to my doctor and she had to schedule me for an abdominal and internal ultrasound to determine exactly how many weeks I’m pregnant. My ultrasound was today and i was very nervous. I kept asking myself what if I don’t see that tiny heartbeat? what if I had another miscarriage?
Thank god it was fine ๐Ÿ™‚ I saw the heartbeat! the baby was swimming around (so cute). I was 6 1/2 weeks pregnant and my due date is on September 12th. The first trimester had always been the danger period for me I hope I get through it easily. The good news my morning sickness isn’t that bad so that’s a relief ๐Ÿ™‚

Here we go again!

It’s hard to believe I’m pregnant again even when i started having morning sickness but after 8 pregnancy tests later I’m pretty convinced ๐Ÿ˜‰ To be honest i think my body is still recovering from my delivery 7 months ago. They say the 2nd pregnancy is always easier, well i just have to wait and see.

The only thing i wasn’t looking forwards to was the morning sickness and migraines, damn them migraines! Usually i would lose the lights and hit the bed BUT it’s kinda hard doing that when you have a cute hyper baby boy who wants to play ๐Ÿ™‚ Lots of doctors visits this month
I wonder would it be a girl or a boy…..

I don’t want to sound mean or anything, I tend to think I get along with everybody BUT I hate people who latch on to you. I’ve recently met this woman who drives me crazy! she’s always pushing her views when it comes to taking care of my baby. As if that wasn’t enough, one time she called and told me she’ll stop by to drop some of her childcare booklets (ugh) then ends up staying 4-5 hours! oh come on lady I have a life too!

I remember one late morning she “stopped by” while I was cooking lunch. She stayed 3 hours and even ate lunch with us. She kept on chatting after my husband repeatedly hinted that he was tired. I swear I went up stairs changed my baby’s diapers put him to sleep came down stairs again and she was still yakking! I’ve also noticed she prefers to come around lunch time so she could eat. I don’t mind once or twice but NOT ALL THE TIME! and she goes for 2nds or 3rds. At least have the courtesy to tell me earlier so I cook could more!

Hmmm what else? oh yeah not to mention her misbehaving kids that drives me and my DH insane, especially when they scream and start running all over the place, and what does she do? NOTHING! I came so close of loosing it when her kid flooded the bathroom and kept on ringing the door bell after I told him not to because my baby was sleeping. The kid just laughed… ugh that’s it END OF RANT.

Going back

in Kuwait Affairs, My Kids

So tomorrow I’m heading back to New Jersey, I can’t believe how time flew by so quickly. A month in Kuwait seemed just like a day or two. I haven’t updated my latest activities not that there are many. Two weeks ago I got the flu, and unfortunately Ali also got it. We took my baby to the hospital, he had a slight fever and was very congested. The doctor gave us some drops and oral meds, but his condition got worse to the point that he couldn’t breathe because of the phlem. He was also teething and that didn’t help much. He is doing well now even though he’s coughing a bit, poor baby.
