Another late post :Thanksgiving

Busy as a bee, and sorry for another late post. So we were invited at my friend’s place for Thanksgiving, and she asked me to cook the turkey since I do that every year. Turkey was in the oven at 5:30 am, had to cook it early because it takes about 6 hours. We arrived at my friend’s apartment around 1pm, I met her cousins, aunt and uncle, they were very nice people. We had fun and my kids enjoyed it too. We ate so much we seemed drugged from food lol of course that didn’t stop us from munching later on.

My Turkey, and I have to say everyone said it was delicious, there were no leftovers πŸ˜€

Trick or Treating with my Kids

by Reema on October 31, 2011

in Events, My Kids

Even though it was cold out tonight I had fun trick or treating with my kids. Of course they were more excited, I’d be if I had all that candy πŸ™‚ We didn’t stay out too long, just about an hour or so because Alethea got tired and it got colder. We made it home just in time to see the other kids in our neighborhood trick or treating and they looked adorable, my kids had fun giving out candies too

Pearls you’re right they are driving me insane! πŸ˜† but I love them. I know I didn’t update for a while (that’s what happens when you have 2 kids close together in age) I’ve been busy busy. Alethea keeps us up all night and what’s funny is when she starts crying Ali wakes up crying too. Yeah at night they both sing. I can’t believe Alethea is a month old already she looks like her brother everyday except her hair is longer and darker, okay here’s the pics I promised.

I’m Home!

by Reema on September 22, 2007

in My Kids, Pregnancy

Baby Alethea is finally home! I went to the hospital on Tuesday 11pm to be induced because my baby decided not to come on time. I pasted my due date therefore doctor suggested for an induction. Lucky me I went to labor Wednesday morning so I didn’t need an induction after all. Some told me that the 2nd delivery was always easy well in my case it wasn’t. I had to endure 9 hrs of labor pain, and it took forever to be dilated 3cm. Finally I screamed for the epidural. The last hour of my labor was pain free, it only took 15 mins for Alethea to pop out and I didn’t even push. Thank God no episiotomy this time πŸ˜›

Alethea was born on Wednesday at 3:15 pm on September 19th she weighed 7.3 lbs. Mom and my friend said she’s a copy of me, at first I couldn’t see it but now I do. So now I have a toddler at home and a new baby πŸ˜€ that’s it no more babies for me, well maybe in 3 to 4 years. Baby Ali is so cute with his sister, at first he got scared when he heard her cry but now he’s more interested to see the new addition to the family. Okay time for me to get some sleep I’m totally exhausted.

Birthday Weekend: Theme Park

by Reema on June 2, 2007

in My Kids

Around 2 pm we were off to Six Flags Great Adventure. We did the Safari first and Ali loved watching the animals roaming free. He was so excited that he banged his head on the window (didn’t even cry). The Safari ride took about an hour and although we LOVED it we had to suffer because my son pooped and we couldn’t stop to change his diaper LOL
