We went to the doctor yesterday and I was very eager to find out if my baby was a girl or a boy. As expected the baby was sleeping with it’s back towards us so the doctor had to shake my belly a bit. Finally when the doctor said, “well i don’t see a pee-pee i think 70% it’s a girl” we won’t know for sure until i do a level 2 ultrasound and that’s in 10 days, i guess i have to be patient but i know it’s a girl 🙂

Has it been that long?

in My Kids, Pregnancy

I can’t believe it took me that long to blog again but in all honesty I needed this break. Lots of things happened in the past month or 2, my younger brother got married and it’s sad I wasn’t there in Kuwait to attend his wedding. Now mom hopes my baby sister would be next lol she wants to fill our house with lots of grandchildren.

As for my pregnancy well I’m 15 weeks and 3 days and I’m dying to know the sex of my baby This pregnancy is so difficult my entire body hurts, maybe because i just delivered my first baby and haven’t given my body enough time to heal. About 2 1/2 weeks i had a nasty fall while going down the stairs and thank god no bleeding. All the major pains and aches that i should be experiencing in my last trimester is happening now and it’s so hard to deal with. My nights are restless, hard to find a good position to sleep.

Baby Ali is just adorable he’s crawling now, sitting and standing up on his own using support. He’s a VERY active baby and wants to play all the time. Thankfully my friend Shara comes by 3 times a week to watch Ali while i do some cooking and all. I really needed the help especially now since my parents delayed their plans to visit due to my sister’s graduation.

Now here’s a short video of my baby Ali i took with my friend.

I’ve been taking it easy and taking care of Ali, he’s growing fast and soon he’ll be running all over the place. Maybe i should start baby proofing the house this weekend. Last Wednesday I went to my doctor and she had to schedule me for an abdominal and internal ultrasound to determine exactly how many weeks I’m pregnant. My ultrasound was today and i was very nervous. I kept asking myself what if I don’t see that tiny heartbeat? what if I had another miscarriage?
Thank god it was fine 🙂 I saw the heartbeat! the baby was swimming around (so cute). I was 6 1/2 weeks pregnant and my due date is on September 12th. The first trimester had always been the danger period for me I hope I get through it easily. The good news my morning sickness isn’t that bad so that’s a relief 🙂
