Happy Thanksgiving

I woke up early at 6:30 am because I had a lot of cooking and preparations to do before our friends and their kids came over. I brined my turkey overnight and it smelled so good with the Kuwaiti spies I’ve added. It took about 5 hours to cook an 18 pounds turkey and just half way through i used cranberry sauce to baste the turkey for more flavor. Friends came at 2pm as i was making the gravy, we didn’t wait at all, the table was already set all we had to do was dig in. We ate so much I felt like bursting lol Thanksgiving was enjoyable, it was nice to get together with friends. I just wished mom and dad were here, hopefully next year.
