The world is in chaos, strange though i had a conversation with some one i met on line and he said since the earth was over populated these natural disasters was a way of balancing life, strange way to look at it, what do you think? but truth to be told we humans die every day either by our own hands or from nature.

Vasco don’t you think that some of the natural disasters are caused by us? for example global warming and so on, who knows maybe we are to blame afterall…

Oh don’t get me starting about the looting, i swear i saw this guy actually smiling happily with the stuff he stole!! that tells you something about us. I’m not sure about the animals the last thing i heard on the news they were concerned about the cemetery being flooded. If only the Earth could talk you’d be hearing wails and screams 🙁 i really hope the next generation do give a damn.

In our haste for further achievements & glory, we have forgotten nature’s gifts to us. We exploit the ecological systems and the price we pay for are natural disasters.. Our schemes to dominate the universe turned out to be chimerical; yet we give scant attention to what sustain us.. The world really need to have a unipolar outlook if it want to ensure our existense and that of the generations to come! (^_^)

Yep…sadly, the world is suffering with all these natural disasters. In U.S.A.,in Japan, in many countries in Europe,we only see disasters…adding the terrorist attacks and hungry children…this is out of control! What will happen next?
Even in Portugal…the hoods are all on fire…people have already died…natural reserves were burned…it’s sick!

Yes…that’s truth…after all we’re just killing ourselves. We kill each other with guns, and wars and all that stuff, and we are killing nature too…and nature will kill us…it’s allawys the money…seems like the people of the present are not worried about the future…like “I’ll only live for about 70 years so…who cares?” …almost like a narcisist attitude…yep,we could do a lot more…

oops…sorry about my english…LOL

Reema,

My prayers go out to all the ppl affected by this hurricane. I have seen where they have started looting, I can’t believe some ppls nerve! To add to the suffering of others, I think that they should be arrested on the spot or made to help rescue ppl from the flooded areas. I am also concerned about the poor defenseless animals. Have any provisions been made to take care of them?
As to this being a way for the population to be thinned out, I think that in life there will be natural disasters every where. The Earth is changing on a daily basis, storms and earthquakes have happened since the begining of time and they will continue long after we are gone. But we should stop abusing the Earth, and I have hope when that we are doing this every time I see the younger generation learn about conservation and pollution. They are being taught this heavily in school and on tv, this up and coming generations are better informed I think then older generations.
