Vasco: Your welcome, have you read any of Marquis books?

Reema August 28, 2005 at 9:13 pm

Vasco: No i haven’t read anything of Fernando Pessoa but I’m going to look into it, any recommendations? As for Marquis I’ve read Juliette and 120 days of Sodom, the man’s writing is genius in his sick perverted way.

Shaira: Your welcome sis 🙂 the only reason i hate leather because it makes me look fat LOL

Vasco: Have you read any of Khalil Gibran’s writings? there are beyond fantastic, thanks for the recommendations, I’m a book lover so i never hesitate to read something new 🙂

Vasco: You have no idea! you should see my library basically my walls all have shelves LOL. I love to read everything but my fav is romance. I also collect Marvel graphic novels if your into that, they are awesome, plus manga and anime…okay better stop now 🙂

Habbalicious: The Prophet was amazing i even bought it audio format and listen to it constantly, so spiritual and soothing. As for Marquis do you think he was insane? i believe he loved being a rebel and challenged society with a mighty fist in his own unique way.

To be honest…i only read “Crimes de Amor”.I think the original title should be “Love Crimes” but i’m not sure…yeah…i should read more things of him…but i like his style…My favorite author is Fernando Pessoa…Know it?

Vasco Coelho August 28, 2005 at 10:41 pm

Only one tip, Reema…Fernando Pessoa is one of the most studied authors in the world, and i’m not kidding…he have several heteronims…that’s why he is so hard to understand…he only published one book in life:”Mensagem”.
I recommend all of his scriptures, cause he’s a genius outside is time…like Kafka, another author i like…they’re only recognized after their lifes, cause there’s no such minds in that times…

Reema.. i feel honoured! thanks for tagging me (^_^) your entry is so honest without malice! What’s the reason to loathe leather in this world where they question “who doesn’t like fur & leather?”
