Dark Water

The worst movie I have ever paid to see!

Just came from Dark Water and the movie sucked BIG TIME, oh god it was so slow i actually felt sleepy they really do deceive you with the trailers. The plot was stupid, not that scary and it was a total waste of time and money, i swear people started leaving after 30 min! and some even booed at the end of it, however the acting was okay. They should have changed the name of the movie to Leaking Ceiling because that’s what’s it’s all about.

Rating: ½☆☆☆☆

It’s based on a japanese movie i think it’s the same director of The Ring movie, some how Hollywood ruin it i think i’ll see the original one.

Why did you pass on Fantastic Four to go to this movie?!
I always wonder how a studio releases a bad movie!
I mean wouldn’t it be obvious to the director, cast and producers that the movie is bad?!

i think it was released because of the trend of releasing re-makes of japanese horror films cause they 1) are something “new” to US audiences, and 2) there are freaks for anything japanese out there.

I watched the original and i have to say i was scared, and did enjoy it. i don’t think japanese horror does too well with US audiences cause, at least with “The Grudge”, the people in the theatre with me were laughing at the best/scariest/tensest points in the movie which made it totally not scary. If they watched it alone, with the lights off, they’d shit their pants but when you go as a group you just want to laugh i guess.

i wish they’d stop remaking movies…

Oh no! I was looking forward to seeing this film. And Batman Begins was awesome. Finally, it was actually based on the comic! And shot in beautiful Chicago!
