I’ve been very busy recently that i feel bad for not updating my blog, I’m going through lots of changes in my life hopefully the outcome would be good πŸ™‚ One of my addictions is collecting polymer sculptures as i had mentioned before so I’m excited that i won yet another great sculpture on eBay, i absolutely love John Cleary’s faes the man is a genius.

So far I’m the proud owner of 4 masterpieces of John’s art work and I’m planning to add more that’s IF i win the bid on eBay πŸ™‚

The fairy realm was always one of my fascinations and who ever loves Lord of the Rings would knows what i mean πŸ™‚ whether in comic books or movies there’s something attractive about the “HERO” character. Speaking of comics a friend of mine showed me this cool site called Hero Machine where you get to make your own comic hero.

I started fooling around with photoshop again I still need a lot of practice but it was fun trying neat stuff, last night i did this and it was kinda hard maybe because I’m used to the old regular way (i use charcoal for my drawings). Anyway this one took me about 5 hours, remember I’m just a beginner πŸ™‚ i used the wacom tablet and i named it Water of Life it’s a bit on the horror.

P.S. i used Arabic calligraphy (tried to give it a gold leaf texture) the translation of the word is FOR YOU.

Farbon is an Elf, he’s about 2.5 inches tall (6.35 cm) and he has beautiful green eyes, he is known as the “Potion Maker” for every problem he has a potion. Farbon also is an expert in perfume fragrance and essential oils, he blends and mixes oils creating a beautiful aroma that lasts forever. This is my second Elf, the first one was Aleck, i used glass eyes in both sculptures and of course sculpy and super sculpy clay.

Clay

I had an appointment today with my doctor, it seems everything is okay and the good news is we could try to have a baby in two months time, i feel much better now and i’m also looking forward for the future. The doctor also told me not to worry about anything and that a lot of women go through a number of miscarriages but they eventually do have a healthy baby.
Anyway one of my hobbies is collecting polymer clay sculptures so i decided to go and buy me some clay my first attempt at sculpturing, mind you i’m not really good at this i’m sure i need A LOT of practice and i know i don’t come close to the real talented artists out there but it was fun trying. Now meet my creation Aleck the Elf πŸ™‚ he is about 2 inches tall and i used blue glass eyes to give him a real look, i mixed black and white clay to make his clothes and I even used paint to give him red cheeks. I know he might not look too good but please have pity for someone who just started playing with clay πŸ™‚ Here’s Aleck the Elf
