I’m Home!

Baby Alethea is finally home! I went to the hospital on Tuesday 11pm to be induced because my baby decided not to come on time. I pasted my due date therefore doctor suggested for an induction. Lucky me I went to labor Wednesday morning so I didn’t need an induction after all. Some told me that the 2nd delivery was always easy well in my case it wasn’t. I had to endure 9 hrs of labor pain, and it took forever to be dilated 3cm. Finally I screamed for the epidural. The last hour of my labor was pain free, it only took 15 mins for Alethea to pop out and I didn’t even push. Thank God no episiotomy this time πŸ˜›

Alethea was born on Wednesday at 3:15 pm on September 19th she weighed 7.3 lbs. Mom and my friend said she’s a copy of me, at first I couldn’t see it but now I do. So now I have a toddler at home and a new baby πŸ˜€ that’s it no more babies for me, well maybe in 3 to 4 years. Baby Ali is so cute with his sister, at first he got scared when he heard her cry but now he’s more interested to see the new addition to the family. Okay time for me to get some sleep I’m totally exhausted.

Spider-man and update.

I’ve said I’ll be updating regularly but it seems with my pregnancy I’m just too lazy to do anything. The constant back pain and the never ending morning sickness is making me feel just blah. I can’t believe my son Ali is going to be a year old this 1st of June! I’ve already planned to make a small birthday party for him and yes I’ll be posting pictures πŸ™‚

So I’m 22 weeks pregnant and I still don’t know the sex of my baby! I had a level 2 ultra sound and the doctor said “i think it’s a girl but not sure” yeah my baby keeps turning a lot. I remember when i was pregnant with Ali he kept his legs wide open showing off his pee pee during the ultrasound but not this baby, oh well time would tell.

Saw Spider-man last weekend and I must say it didn’t live up to the hype. Even my friend Shara said it was funny and cheesy. There hasn’t been any good movies lately but I’m looking forwards to up coming movies like Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Shrek 3 and Fantastic Four 2.

Rating: ★★½☆☆

Anyway gotta go and get some sleep, I have so much catching up to do and lots of blogs to read, no promises but I will try to blog regularly.

70% it’s a girl!

We went to the doctor yesterday and I was very eager to find out if my baby was a girl or a boy. As expected the baby was sleeping with it’s back towards us so the doctor had to shake my belly a bit. Finally when the doctor said, “well i don’t see a pee-pee i think 70% it’s a girl” we won’t know for sure until i do a level 2 ultrasound and that’s in 10 days, i guess i have to be patient but i know it’s a girl πŸ™‚

Has it been that long?

I can’t believe it took me that long to blog again but in all honesty I needed this break. Lots of things happened in the past month or 2, my younger brother got married and it’s sad I wasn’t there in Kuwait to attend his wedding. Now mom hopes my baby sister would be next lol she wants to fill our house with lots of grandchildren.

As for my pregnancy well I’m 15 weeks and 3 days and I’m dying to know the sex of my baby This pregnancy is so difficult my entire body hurts, maybe because i just delivered my first baby and haven’t given my body enough time to heal. About 2 1/2 weeks i had a nasty fall while going down the stairs and thank god no bleeding. All the major pains and aches that i should be experiencing in my last trimester is happening now and it’s so hard to deal with. My nights are restless, hard to find a good position to sleep.

Baby Ali is just adorable he’s crawling now, sitting and standing up on his own using support. He’s a VERY active baby and wants to play all the time. Thankfully my friend Shara comes by 3 times a week to watch Ali while i do some cooking and all. I really needed the help especially now since my parents delayed their plans to visit due to my sister’s graduation.

Now here’s a short video of my baby Ali i took with my friend.

I’ve been taking it easy and taking care of Ali, he’s growing fast and soon he’ll be running all over the place. Maybe i should start baby proofing the house this weekend. Last Wednesday I went to my doctor and she had to schedule me for an abdominal and internal ultrasound to determine exactly how many weeks I’m pregnant. My ultrasound was today and i was very nervous. I kept asking myself what if I don’t see that tiny heartbeat? what if I had another miscarriage?
Thank god it was fine πŸ™‚ I saw the heartbeat! the baby was swimming around (so cute). I was 6 1/2 weeks pregnant and my due date is on September 12th. The first trimester had always been the danger period for me I hope I get through it easily. The good news my morning sickness isn’t that bad so that’s a relief πŸ™‚

Here we go again!

It’s hard to believe I’m pregnant again even when i started having morning sickness but after 8 pregnancy tests later I’m pretty convinced πŸ˜‰ To be honest i think my body is still recovering from my delivery 7 months ago. They say the 2nd pregnancy is always easier, well i just have to wait and see.

The only thing i wasn’t looking forwards to was the morning sickness and migraines, damn them migraines! Usually i would lose the lights and hit the bed BUT it’s kinda hard doing that when you have a cute hyper baby boy who wants to play πŸ™‚ Lots of doctors visits this month
I wonder would it be a girl or a boy…..
